Ebay experience

My own experience with Ebay.

Two years ago I retired. Now time is on my side, honey dew list aside. I was always interested in earning some money online while working at home with my computer.

No matter how you attempt to do this you will need a game plan. The big guys might call this a business plan. This is good because it will point you in a direction, help account for your money, and set some realistic goals. So now you are on track watching your income and your outgo while taking little stepping stone to your future.

I chose the internet {computer work} for growth. Believe me it was like TV, it is not going away. I chose Ebay because of the size of the market place, easy of becoming a member, and a reality check. The numbers of sales and activity prove there is positive results.

So how did I do ? I was scared, not sure, pleasantly surprised.
Scared because when you enter your first auction you will realize that people from all over the world will be looking at this site. Not sure if I had all this information correct and really not sure if I would get the money for this item. Now pleasantly surprised with a positive results of the first sale and seeing the potential fro growth.

All of this sounds easy, simple and it is because of Ebay.
I say this, anyone can enjoy buying and selling, with the system that Ebay has in place for you to use after you join. The easy steps they provide really will open the door to opportunity. What you decide to do with it is up to you.

After you have some success finding that you enjoy this wonderful world of Ebay it is only natural that you will want to do better.

In earlier articles I said that doing Ebay was easy. Trust me it is. There are complete territorials for both byers and sellers. They approach this heading with very complete step by step instructions. When you are done with that there are more places where you can ask direct question to get answers, no matter what the subject. Ebay themselves have many of the common Q & A in there source pages. You can even get the insight of fellow marketers by way of forums,and clubs hosted by Ebay.

With all this information on Ebay why would I look for an outside source for more.
This is why I did. Even after you have read a book and completely enjoyed it. And you might take away some thought or idea of that information. When you stop to tell a friend about the book you have just read. Now you share your different points of view. When all is done you will both have many different thoughts and views of the same book.

One of the outside sources for good information was Jim Cockrum. His ebook I found to be the most reliable , complete information and current to todays market place. This is easily done by way of his news letter. This is free to join and updated on a regular basis.

E BAY the largest market place in the world. Buy anything from paper clips to a mega yacht. From all over the world.
If all this seems impossible just enter your item in the search box. In seconds the list of that item will appear. You can even find a red one in size ten if you would like to. Example, a 1999 Saturn green four door with less than 100,000 miles on it within 100 miles from your home town. As you can see the search can be very specific.
Now the next thing after you have found your item is how it is listed. The car may be a one time listing for a $1000 dollars at a set price. So you can buy it now. Or listing the same car as an auction. This means that the car will sell for the best offer from many perspectives buyers.
This is why they call Ebay a win win situation for both the seller and the buyer. This is what makes Ebay such a wonderful marketplace.
Today, the Ebay community includes tens of millions of registered members from around the world. Making this the most popular shopping destination on the internet.
There are currently 157 million registered users around the world on Ebay. Of these 75 million are based here in the USA. Ebay's market place stretches over 33 international countries. Now trading over 1,381 dollars EVERY SECOND. Making available 55 million items world wide with 5 million items being added per day, and now being placed in 50,000 different categories. Byers because of this there are a lot of dollars being saved with your purchases. Sellers to benefit from this Ebay market place with great earnings. So much so that people are joining Ebay just to clean out there garages of all those odds and ends. Now they are earning much more income from the average weekend yard sale. Even for some this has grown into a full time endeavor to receive a substantial work from home income.

Introduction to MOM

This is Mom, Feb 28, 1913. She is with us everyday,I have her input in our writings,with her thoughts and recommendations on every page. You will find her keynote image thumbnail next to what she would consider to be high pionts of interest. Our as she would say , That looks like it would work !!

So I didn't want to get to far along with out introducing her and taking the opportunity to bring some short stories of hers to the blog.

First MOM has been a work from home MOM at my early age. My father had past on and she had to raise the two boys on her own. They had moved to N.Y. during the war years along with a large part of the family from down south. She had a choice to return to the south but she choose bright lights, excitement, and opportunity. She had faired pretty well taking in wash and doing some independent house cleaning. This was not enough so at one point she had found herself on the welfare rolls. But in her determination she was able to land a job in a sewing room. It wasn't long before she was foreman doing real well by late nineteen forties standards. Her first day on the job had found her to be just a bit broke. But not to let everyone know just how broke she was she has this story to tell.


It was lunch not a penny in her pocket, but everyone around her was going out to the dinner for a hot meal. MOM, decided to take a stroll thinking it wont be long now before I will join the gang from work across the street at that fine dinner for a hot meal for herself. But today she would take her pride and be strong . She just took a walk around the block. About the time lunch was to end MOM came around the corner with a smile,a perky step,and a big wooden toothpick in her mouth. Now you would think that she had found a steak house that nobody else at work had even heard of.


Now this is a story that I carry with me today. Even when things look a little gray in your mind keep things as big as life itself.

As I plug along in this marketing campaign some of what MOM may have experienced, even if her insight may be a little outdated. I think we can take something away from her long background.

Now in closing keep an eye out for MOM's picture and maybe that will be the product to make your toothpick smile come true.
